New location for Moneta YMCA

Members and employees of the Moneta YMCA gathered for its relocation celebration on June 4. The Y, which previously took up about 1,800 square feet on Rucker Road, moved to a 3,000-square-foot unused portion of the Centra Stroobants Heart Center in Mayberry Hills in March. The location is a temporary fix while the Y staff and community work to raise $4.6 million for the planned 60,000-square-foot facility in Mayberry Hills.
