Golf course cafe undergoes changes, boat service business relocates and PWC-rental business closes

Golf course cafe undergoes changes

The Clubhouse Cafe, located by the pro shop at Mariners Landing Golf & Country Club, has undergone some changes. Owner Kim Laverty said cafe has started offering dinner three nights per week.

Laverty also has added outdoor dining for customers and moved the business slightly away from the pro shop to emphasize to customers that the cafe and pro shop are different entities.

Boat service business relocates

Four Points Marine, owned by Josh Bittinger and Mark De Tournillon Jr., has moved to the former Magnum Marine Center on Virginia 40 in Union Hall. The boat service and detailing business formerly was located at Blackwater Boat Company on Virginia 122.

Bittinger said they're also working on attaining their dealer's license. He said they also plan to do consignment boat sales, boat storage and shrink wrapping.

Busecca joins Weichert

Weichert, REALTORS -- Bridges & Co. has announced the addition of Donna Busecca. A specialist in residential and commercial sales, she serves clients in Smith Mountain Lake and surrounding areas. She is a member of the Roanoke Valley Association of REALTORS.

Busecca, a native of South Plainfield, N.J., is a 15-year area resident living in Moneta. She earned an associate degree in data processing and followed her education with a career in information technology.

PWC-rental business closes

Anchors Away! Entertainment, a PWC-rental and inflatable-ride business has closed. The business, which was located across Virginia 122 from Bridgewater Plaza, opened May 1.
