Market merchandise available at Discovery Shop

The Discovery Shop at SML today will list for sale its latest acquisitions from the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, N.C. For several years, the shop has received donations from the market's exhibitors.

The new furniture and home accessories will be sold in the space adjacent to the Discovery Shop's resale store on Scruggs Road.

Shoppers can browse the wares during the grand opening today from 10a.m. to 7p.m. Additional hours are as follows:

• May 12, 10a.m. to 4p.m.
• May 13, 11a.m. to 3p.m.
• May 17-18, 10a.m. to 5p.m.
• May 19, 10a.m. to 4p.m.
• May 24-25, 10a.m. to 5p.m.
• May 26, 10a.m. to 4p.m.
• May 28, 10a.m. to 2p.m.

Proceeds from the sale, as well as those from the shop's regular wares, benefit the American Cancer Society.
