Golf fundraiser at Hot Shots offers bonus

Participants in a miniature-golf tournament/fundraiser for SML Good Neighbors, Inc. will have some extra incentive this year.

Jeff Schott of Hot Shots Family Fun Center, where Shots "Fore" Tots will be held Sept. 11, has arranged for participants to vie for a spot in the Harris Cup Qualifying Tournament on Oct. 2 in Vestal, N.Y. The top 10 scorers in the tourney will play an additional round to determine who will receive the all-expense-paid trip sponsored by Hot Shots. The Harris Cup, a national event, offers a purse of $10,000.

Shots "Fore" Tots also will include door prizes, trophies, a hole-in-one competition and free hot dogs and beverages.

Registration is $15 in advance and $18 the day of the tournament. Tickets can be purchased at Trinity Ecumenical Parish, Hot Shots, Radio Shack or from an SML Good Neighbors, Inc. volunteers. Rain date is Sept. 18.
