Snow Long

It blew into town before Santa Claus had even loaded up the sleigh. Before it left, the first snowstorm of the season was being tagged “snow of the century,” “snowpocalypse” and “snowpalooza.” Call it what you want, but don’t call the December 2009 snow a one-hit wonder. It was a precursor to what would be one of the worst winters in recent memory. And even though spring officially begins next week, we may not be out of the woods. March has been known to produce some unpredictable and unstable weather (you know how flaky snow can be). We wanted to share some of SML’s best snow shots submitted by our readers. We can only hope similar scenes won’t be repeated for at least nine months.
