Letter to the editor

Thanks for the story about SML chef.

February 12, 2010: Story on local chef brings vast experience and a love of cooking back to the table.

I was very pleased with this story of a Smith Mountain Lake chef and his unique passion for cooking along with the struggles that he faced getting here to the immensely majestic Smith Mountain Lake area.

I was exquisitely astounded that he was getting back into his love of cooking, even with the medical condition he went through.

Lastly, I was grateful that he put three of his recipes in there so the average person can try them without going to a gourmet restaurant, especially during this harsh economy.

All in all, I was very thankful for you putting his story in the paper.
