The Saunders Volunteer Fire Co. would like to thank the community for their support. The [Feb. 20] chili dinner was a great success. Food was plentiful and enjoyed by all.

Over 200 people joined us. One customer said, "I make great chili and yours was even better." We did have takeout for those who could not stay for dinner.

Several of those that stayed for dinner said, "If you have any chili left over, we would like to buy some," but we sold out even though we made 200 pounds.

We are considering having another chili dinner in the fall, possibly in October. We will make even more delicious chili for our next dinner.
