Golfers can tee up for breast cancer research

Bob Riddick Home Services recently announced via this billboard on Scruggs Road that it is hosting a golf tournament on Sept. 13 to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

On Sept. 13, Bob Riddick Home Services will host its first golf tournament, Chipping in Fore a Cure as a fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. This year’s event will be held at The Westlake with a goal of raising at least $20,000.

“Unfortunately, breast cancer is something that hits home for a lot of people, and all of us at Bob Riddick Home Services are passionate about raising money for the cause,” said Bob Riddick, company president.

Last year, the company raised $10,000 in donations for BCRF, a nonprofit organization that provides funding for cancer research and whose mission is to “prevent and cure breast cancer by advancing the world’s most promising research.”

Sponsorship opportunities are available, and registration to play in the tournament is now open.
