Curbside pickups have resumed at Franklin County Public Libraries. The Rocky Mount and Westlake libraries will once again provide books, audiobooks and DVDs for members.

Curbside pickup at the Westlake Library will be at the front entrance near the book drop box. Curbside pickup at the Rocky Mount location will take place at the building’s rear door, parking lot side. Book returns should be placed in the book drop box near that door.

Items checked out will follow standard procedures.

The library’s available books can be searched online.

Members can create an account, choose items to check out and place online holds on items.

Anyone interested in a library card or in need of help with online searches can call the library at 483-3098.

Members are also invited to use ebooks and other online offerings, including authoritative databases, learning products, reading and studying materials for children and young adults and genealogy and family history research tools.

Curbside pickup times at both the Westlake and Rocky Mount locations are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
